Welcome to June and a new, fun theme to scrap about!  June is about Direction!  When I heard the kit was geared for the theme of direction, my mind went crazy.  What a cool concept to scrap about.  There are so many ideas.

One of my favorite layouts involves my husband.  I like to scrap about our relationship and how grateful I am.  In a busy world with two kids, I don't often stop and think about our stories.  But those stories have brought us to our current spot in life.

 

I loved the idea of taking a lifetime voyage with him and so many elements in the kit fit the theme.  I layered the three main elements across the middle.  The photo of us two and the two journaling cards. 

 

I loved the wood travel pieces and wanted to use them to represent the fact that I would travel anywhere and by any means with him by my side.  I wanted each piece to pop so I placed them on light blue circles.

 

I carefully chose the journaling cards, picking the calendar one as it represents time.  I love the journey card and even the quote speaks about travel and time.  For me, that didn't mean vacation, but life.  Any relationship is an adventure so I made sure that word showed when I tucked the journaling card.  I used the lines to tell the story.

 

Exploring the direction you are moving in and using the travel themed pieces presents a fun challenge!  I encourage you to scrap you story!
