Fly-By Altering Tutorial

Well, hello there all of you Inside Out fans!  Have you missed me?   I've been off gallivanting around and have been neglectful in my sharing of the tutorials that are posted over at Inside Out's community.  As I've said before, our design team is absolutely fabulous and have so many great techniques and ideas that they share throughout each month.  I know I've missed so many of them here, so please... go sign up on our message boards and catch up... there's so much greatness to absorb over there!

To whet your appetite, here is a fly-by tutorial by our very talented Nancy:

Altering Organza Flowers

This month's kit has some amazingly versatile flowers from Creative Impressions. They're a beautiful shimmery organza, and the sky's the limit when it comes to altering them. Here's a super-fast, lightning-round tutorial.

Ready? Here we go!

You can stitch on them,

sew a button on,

and heat-emboss them.

You can Glimmer-glam them,

metallic-paint them,

and Stickle them.

You can mist them,

mask them,

and stamp them.

You can alcohol-ink them,

heat & curl them,

cut them into a dragonfly shape,

and layer them.

Whew! That was fast.  Go forth and alter!

"Whew" is right, Nancy!  That was a fly-by tutorial packed with all kinds of inspiration on altering!  Now, how about all of you?  What other altering tips do you have up your sleeve?  Please share!

And remember... buy your Inspiration kit before they run out... and receive the Creative Impressions flowers Nancy refers to in her tutorial!
