Happy Monday!

Here's today's inspiration and 2 giveaways.

Scrapbooking from the Inside Out's kits, and our industry exclusive inspiration, give you everything you need to create pages with layers of meaning.

From that great kit - two giveaways for TWO winners...Chatterbox's Journaling Genie Template - Comics (super fun) and Scenic Route's Star Chipboard.

I want to stand up for myself more. My family has always been pretty sneaky in the way they disrespect people, and so I'd like to be more straightforward.

-- I love the journaling on the LO! Super cute, as are the stars!

I just turned 60 almost a year ago and finally I am learning to stand up by myself. The main word in my vocabulary is now "NO". I hope it doesn't take as long as it did to stand up for your self. You all have a Merry Christmas!!

I am sort of shy and like to avoid confrontation, so I would like to stand up for myself more.

I don't like confrontation of any kind and always the one trying to stop the bickering/arguing with anyone. I wish I could stand up for myself more and say what is on my mind. I am always worried about hurting others.

I still need help standing up for myself and my children. I am getting a little better with age, but still hate any kind of confrontation. Thanks for a chance to win. I just registered for your email newsletter. Thanks,

I am already a follower. I stand up for myself by saying what I think. It gets me in trouble at times and I try not to hurt feelings, but I shoot straight from the hip and like it or lump it. I have apologized if I found out I was out of line.

I stand up for myself at work but I am not very good with this around my dad and stepmother. I guess I am don't want to hurt feelings but I want to be the peacemaker of the bunch.

Standing up for myself is something I struggle with because I have a tendency to feel guilty for wanting better for myself. I always put the other person first and consider their feelings. But I realize that much of that is my way of avoiding rejection and I that I try to please people so that they won't leave me. A hard thing to admit but it is a control thing with me, classic codependency. I learned it well, so I remind myself that I can also learn other, new and healthier, coping mechanisms.
Great layout and journaling!

Well, I have taken a tip from Nancy Reagan and I just say "no"! It's a very freeing thing to know yourself and your capabilities as well as your limits. I have discovered that it's not shameful to admit that I can't, I can't right now, or I just plain don't want to do something. I have said "no" many times and the world hasn't come to an end yet!

I stand up for myself by just telling it like it is. I try not to be demeaning or hurtful, but honest and straight-forward.
