DELIGHT Online Crop Inspiration

Hey everyone!

We are having so much fun on the forum, right now, with everyone hanging out and participating in our online crop. All the challenges have been issued but it's not too late! May Guest Designer and Online Crop

Hi everyone!

We are super DELIGHTed to share with you our Guest Designer for May. She is the super sweet and super talented Julie Tucker-Wolek!

My name is Julie Tucker-Wolek and I have been scrapping since my son was born 15
years ago, but really got into it as a major passion about 6 years ago when my
daughter was born.  I create everything!  Cards, layouts, altered projects!  In
fact, altered projects are my new fave thing to do!! Give me ANYTHING, and I can
re-do, re-design, re-create it just by altering it! My Mother and Father-in-law recently were going to throw away an old
wooden step ladder, and my Mother-in-law stopped and said, "No, let's not throw
that away, I bet Julie can make something out of it!" and oh was she right! I
turned the old wooden step ladder into a necklace/jewelry holder! True story!

I am THRILLED to be here this month!!!

In true "Behind the Scenes" fashion, I asked Julie to pick one of her layouts to share with all of you and tell us more about it. 

What prompted you to pick this take on Delight? 

I want my hubby to know what he means to me - I don't always verbalize it, so I wanted to put it down on paper!

Why did you choose this photo? 

I love the way he is looking at me in this wedding photo.
What symbolism did you bring into your design? I used a lot of blue in my lo - as our wedding was mostly in blues :)

How did you feel about the message of the layout? 

It's exactly what I wanted to say to hubby - He actually said "Awwwww" when he read it! That was the best compliment ever!

Tell us a little bit about how you feel now that it's done. 

I am loving how it turned out! The colors are perfect, the design makes me happy - and the journaling was a success!!
